भारत बहुत ही प्रतिभावान एवं ऊर्जावान युवा देश है, और यहां के युवा देश की तरक्की में योगदान देने के लिए लालयित रहते हंै। जिस तरह भारत के युवा अपने हुनर से देश को आगे ले जा रहे है उसी प्रकार भारत की वर्तमान मीडिया देश में क्रान्ति कारी परिवर्तन ला रही है, वर्तमान मीडिया को युवा मीडिया कह सकते है। जिस प्रकार मनुष्य का जीवन काल का विकास बाल्यावस्था से किशोरावस्था, किशोरावस्था से युवावस्था एवं प्रौढ़ा, वृद्धक्रम होता है ठीक इसके विपरीत मीडिया का विकास-वृद्धावस्था से प्रौढ़ावस्था, प्रौढ़ावस्था से युवा वस्था क्रम हुई जैसे की प्रिंट मीडिया से इलेक्ट्रानिक मीडिया, इलेक्ट्राॅनिक मीडिया से डिजिटल एवं सोशल मीडिया, डिजिटल मीडिया एवं सोशल मीडिया को युवा मीडिया के रूप सम्बोधित कर सकते है।
