Publication Ethics
The International Journal of Science and Social Science Research (IJSSSR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical responsibility in scholarly publishing. We believe that quality research can only contribute to academic progress when it is conducted and communicated honestly. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is therefore evaluated through a fair, impartial, and confidential editorial process that respects both academic freedom and research integrity.
Authors are expected to submit original work that reflects their own research and intellectual contribution. Manuscripts must not be under consideration by another journal or previously published in a manner that conflicts with accepted publication practices. Whenever the work of others is incorporated, proper acknowledgement through accurate citation is essential. Any attempt to misrepresent research through plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, manipulated images, or inappropriate authorship is regarded as a serious breach of publication ethics.
Every submission undergoes an editorial assessment before entering the peer-review process. Independent reviewers evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit, originality, methodological quality, and relevance to the journal's scope. Reviewers are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, provide objective and constructive comments, and disclose any potential conflict of interest that could influence their assessment.
Editors make publication decisions independently and without discrimination. Editorial judgments are based entirely on the scholarly quality of the manuscript and the recommendations received during peer review. Personal beliefs, institutional affiliations, nationality, gender, or commercial interests never influence editorial decisions. When concerns regarding research ethics arise, the editorial office carefully examines the matter and takes appropriate action to protect the integrity of the publication record.
Authors should disclose any financial support, funding sources, or personal and professional relationships that may reasonably be viewed as influencing the research. Studies involving human participants or animals should comply with recognised ethical standards and, where applicable, receive approval from the appropriate ethics committee before the research is undertaken.
Artificial intelligence tools may be used only to assist with language improvement or editorial refinement. Such tools cannot be recognised as authors and cannot accept responsibility for the content of a scholarly article. Authors remain fully accountable for the originality, accuracy, and reliability of every part of their manuscript, regardless of whether AI-assisted technologies were used during its preparation.
If a published article is later found to contain significant errors or evidence of research misconduct, the journal may issue a correction, publish an editorial notice, or retract the article after an appropriate editorial review. These measures are intended to preserve the accuracy and credibility of the scholarly record.
By submitting a manuscript to the International Journal of Science and Social Science Research (IJSSSR), authors acknowledge that they have followed responsible research practices and agree to comply with the journal's ethical standards throughout the submission, review, and publication process. The journal remains committed to fostering an academic environment built on honesty, accountability, and respect for scholarly excellence.
