A composite Z-Score value is used to measure the overall level of quality of life and to classify the sample villages into high, medium and low categories. The findings indicate that quality of life in Jashpur district varies considerably from one area to another. Developed areas have comparatively better access to education, healthcare, transport, employment and basic facilities, whereas remote rural areas face greater socio-economic challenges. Improving infrastructure and public services is essential for reducing these regional disparities.
