Vitex negundo a plant with multi- Pharmacological benefits

The traditional plant vitex negundo L. family Verbenaceae posses different activity such as analgesic activity, antioxidant activity, neuroprotective activity, anticonvulsant activity, etc. It has been proved that various parts of plant such as leafs, fruits, seeds etc. provide essential nutrients compounds to human diet. It is the only plant that a single plant species find use for treatment of a large spectrum of human health in traditional as well as modern medicine. In this paper already reported medicinal uses and pharmacological activities of plant has been reviewed.
