Abstract

Technology has shaped people’s lifestyle globally. It facilitates the way to explore new things and enlarge their functioning, organise and effectively manage their potential and facilitates economic opportunities. Women in both developed and developing countries can access learning through technology. The purpose of this research paper is to analyse how technology is driving women empowerment, as technology has changed the way of living, thinking, and behaviour of individuals. As per the united nations SDG 5, there should be enhanced use of information and communication technology, to promote the empowerment of women”. Women constitute around 48%of the population in India and play an active role in social development. New technologies offer huge potential to increase economic opportunities and enhance the women empowerment
