Abstract

The internet has rapidly developed into one of the most critical components of our everyday lives. If we did not have access to the internet, it would be quite challenging for us to continue with our typical activities as they are now. Internet technology has seen widespread adoption, which has made it possible to bring together people from all over the world and paved the way for more productive ways to carry out ordinary chores in a variety of spheres of life. The internet is put to use for a number of functions that are essential; yet, it is also used for recreational activities such as navigating various social media platforms and playing games online. Maintaining a level of normalcy or mental composure in today's world, with all of its frenetic activity and cutthroat competition, is an extremely difficult task that requires a lot of effort. Even for people who are physically and psychologically strong, the modern world can make it challenging to maintain a healthy balance between one's mental and physical well-being. This research project aims to determine the elements that influence the mental health of adolescents as a result of their addiction to the internet, as well as the aspects that help promote the well-being of adolescents.
